At first only one tulip stuck out of the otherwise perfectly round bouquet, and I thought that maybe it had come loose, and even tried to gently push it back in. But then this morning when I looked at it, ALL the tulips were sticking out. Have the other flowers shrunk? After consulting Google, it turns out that tulips continue to grow (at least an inch) once it has been cut! Who knew?
